The Law Offices of Schurmer & Drane was founded in 1968 under the name of Linder, Schurmer, Drane & Bullis. The firm specialized in all types of personal injury and wrongful death actions on behalf of individual plaintiffs’ and their families. The partnership experienced a number of changes until becoming Schurmer & Drane in the late seventies. Walter H. Drane, Esq., one of the founding partners, passed away in 1984, however, out of recognition for his service and contribution to the firm, his name remains. 

In the early eighties, the firm relocated it’s primary offices to Santa Barbara and rapidly became entrenched in the tri-counties legal community with many successful jury verdicts and published appellate opinions.

Currently, the firm maintains two offices, one in the Ventura/Oxnard area and one in Santa Barbara and continues to provide the same excellent legal services that it has for its 40 year plus history.

The Law Offices of Schurmer & Drane handles all cases on a contingency fee basis and advances all costs necessary to successful prosecute each case. There is no charge for the initial consultation.
